The difference between all-season tires and winter tires may seem insignificant during the summer months but when the cold weather hits, you'll know why any driving in snowy climes or roads that are coated in black ice will require winter tires. You may not require winter tires for very long, and you can always pick up a set and use them interchangeably throughout the year with your regular tires.

All-weather tires are a great value. They are what most drivers have on the car and what the factory sends the car out with, in most cases. However, as great as all-season tires are, they are not designed to function in extreme winter weather.

Winter tires have special tread on them and even specially formulated rubber which will not stiffen in cold weather. This leads to better road handling, a reduction in possible blowouts, and a longer life for the tire in general.

No matter what kind of tires you want on your car, we can put them on for you. So come down to Fort’s Toyota of Pekin and let us hook you up!
