Typically, we only think about our windshield wiper blades when we need them. Ideally, however, they would be something that got replaced regularly. The team at Fort's Toyota of Pekin knows the signs that it is time to swap out your wiper blades.

Is there an unpleasant squeak when you turn on your wipers? That is a definite sign that your wiper blades are nearing the end of their life. Another warning sign would be streaks being left behind. Even if these streaks are not impacting your visibility yet, they are only going to get worse over time.

If there is no rain in the forecast, you can always test out your blades by turning on your washer fluid. Or, you can visually inspect your wiper blades for noticeable damage. Tears in the squeegee surface, bends in the frame, and rust on the metal are all bad signs.
