Interior & Exterior Design
The new Toyota C-HR is available in just two trim levels: SE and XSE. It's about the same size as the Toyota bZ4X but offers a sleek, upscale look rather than an extroverted, rugged exterior. Inside, there is room for five and a small cargo area that provides around 25 cubic feet of cargo space. The overall design is modern and clean, with some personality thanks to a customizable LED light strip that runs across the dashboard. There is also plenty of storage and practical space in between the two front seats. The center console incorporates open storage underneath and dual wireless charging spots for a pair of smartphones.
Performance & Capability
The new C-HR comes standard with all wheel drive because it has two electric motors, one on the front and one on the rear axles. Combined, these two motors make a robust 338 horsepower. For a small SUV of this size, that means rapid acceleration and an engaging driving experience. With the large 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery pack, the C-HR is rated for a range of up to 290 miles. It can recharge quickly and uses the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, allowing it to recharge at Tesla Supercharging stations.
